The GTA series is dedicated to highly competitive professional auto racing, while maintaining an enjoyable and affordable racing position that attracts racers from a wide range of backgrounds. Cost is contained via keeping a tight reign on component costs and utilizing "spec" components including the chassis, engine, shocks, brakes, tires, bodies, etc.

Although competition drives the series, additional emphasis is placed on safety, camaraderie, well-defined specifications and rules, fairness, and promoting a good name for the series sponsors, associates and most of all the race fans.
